WWE announced earlier this week that WrestleMania 37 is set to take place from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 28, 2021 and earlier today WWE held a press conference hyping up the event.
Roman Reigns has been one of WWE’s top stars for years now, and he’s already got a big match in mind for the Show of Shows in 2021.
Fernando Ramirez of NBC San Diego shared a clip of Reigns teasing a possible match against The Rock, and he hyped up a possible confrontation with The Great One.
“I said it earlier. Man, if there’s a stadium to hold… Hey DJ, check it out. Not bad, right? I mean, everyone’s always dream-matching me and him. First of all, we’re family so it’s all love, but if there was going to be an event for him to compete in, to perform in, a venue to hold that mass scale of attention that he’s going to bring… it’s right here in your backyard, you know what I mean? Ya ain’t gotta go far.”
Last year The Rock noted that he quietly retired from the ring, but as we’ve seen before when it comes to professional wrestling you can never say never.
