WWE announced earlier this week that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns had been suspended. Roman Reigns is currently serving out a 30 day suspension for a wellness policy violation and his suspension has caused WWE to change their live event plans in the meantime. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins was expected to headline live events in Boston and Orlando this weekend but obviously that won’t be happening.
It looks like Dean Ambrose will be replacing Roman Reigns as Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Championship is now being advertised for Saturday’s live event in Boston and Sunday’s live event in Orlando. But it also looks like Dean Ambrose could be pulling double duty this weekend.
Ambrose is also being advertised to defend his title in a triple threat match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens during Sunday’s WWE live event in Jacksonville at the Veterans Memorial Arena.
It would take about 2 hours for Ambrose to drive from Jacksonville to Orlando so it’s always possible that he could end up working both shows this weekend.
CM Punk revealed on the latest UFC Unfiltered podcast that he will be facing off against against Mickey Gall at UFC 203 in September and The Rock also appeared on the same podcast in a pre-taped segment. After the podcast aired The Rock took to Twitter to let everyone know that he’s fired up for CM Punk’s debut.
