Last weekend at Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa faced off against The Usos in the main event, and it was The Usos who picked up the win. Jey Uso pinned Roman Reigns which was the first time that the Tribal Chief had been pinned in over three years. Ahead of SmackDown this week The Usos announced that they would be taking Roman Reigns to Tribal Court, but things quickly became chaotic.
The Tribal Court segment ended up turning into a brawl between The Usos and Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, and Solo put Jimmy Uso through the announce table with a splash off the barricade. Jimmy Uso was then transported to a medical facility in an ambulance.
Later in the show Paul Heyman informed Roman Reigns that Jey Uso was in the building, so Roman made his way to the ring with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa. Jey Uso entered through the crowd and he was heated.
Jey took out Solo then set his sights on the Tribal Chief as he attacked Roman Reigns with a chair. Solo intercepted and grabbed the chair, but Jey hit him with a superkick, grabbed the chair and destroyed Solo.
Roman Reigns retreated and started to make his way up the ramp. Unfortunately for Roman Reigns he left his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the ring, so Jey grabbed it. Roman shook his head and told Jey to put it down. Jey told Roman Reigns that he’s the judge, the jury and the executioner. He said that now he has to get Roman, and it’s trial by combat.
Jey Uso challenged Roman Reigns to a one on one match, and told him he better accept his challenge as the show went off the air.
