Roman Reigns has been WWE’s top star for years now, but a few weeks ago he announced that he was vacating the Universal Championship to focus on his battle with leukemia, and fans have been trying to process the information ever since.
Roman also revealed that he previously battled leukemia and sent it into remission, but unfortunately it’s back.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Roman Reigns is just starting treatment for leukemia.
In regards to a potential return to the ring, it’s being said that any talks regarding a return are a long way off.
At this point it’s not clear when fans might see Roman Reigns on WWE programming again, but he is currently scheduled to appear at ACE Comic Con in Phoenix from 1/11 to 1/13 next year.
