Roman Reigns has been on the receiving end of a massive push for a few years now, and he was originally set to challenge Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36.
However, Roman Reigns pulled out of the event and he was replaced by Braun Strowman who defeated Goldberg to win the belt.
After Reigns pulled out of the event he took to Instagram to post a video saying, “But you don’t know the whole story. All you know is what you think, his health and all that, but you don’t know what else is going on in my life. You don’t know if I have newborns, or family in my household, older family.”
Reigns recently did an interview with Muscle & Fitness and during the interview he revealed that his wife is pregnant with twins.
“Three [kids], with two in the oven. I’m looking to be Papa Bear Five. Breaking news, we haven’t shared that.”
It’s not clear if the pregnancy played a part in his decision to pull out of Mania, but given the situation it may have been a factor.
