Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns was recently suspended for 30 days after he violated WWE’s Wellness Policy for the first time. Fans won’t be seeing Roman on television before the big triple threat main event at Battleground, but he will be returning to WWE before the pay-per-view airs.
Roman Reigns is now being advertised for the July 23rd WWE live event at the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ. That means he’ll be making his return one night before he challenges for the WWE Championship at Battleground on July 24th.
With the return of the WWE Draft coming up there have been a lot of rumors in regards to which former stars could be returning. Goldberg’s name seems to be popping up quite a bit but Goldberg spoke to 411Mania.com and confirmed that WWE has not contacted him about returning.
“WWE has not called me to be a part of any roster. My relationship with WWE stands with the video game and the video game only. If they want to extend an olive branch and pick up the phone, then I will make a comment on that once they do it. But prior to that, nothing’s been done.”
