June has been a weird month for Roman Reigns. He lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and then shortly after dropping the belt he was suspended for 30 days after he violated WWE’s wellness policy.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that before Roman Reigns was sent home last week he was ordered to apologize to the entire WWE locker room. It was noted that the apology was met with a mixed reaction as some people thought it was unnecessary to embarrass Roman Reigns that way while others disagreed. The report also mentioned that Mark Carrano was the one ordered Roman Reigns to apologize, which means that the order came from Triple H not Vince McMahon.
Unfortunately for Roman his suspension is costing him a good chunk of change because wrestlers don’t get any of their wrestling pay or their downside gurantees while they’re suspended. It’s estimated that Roman Reigns will be missing out on $100,000 worth of money due to the live events he’s missing.
However, Roman Reigns won’t be missing any WWE pay-per-views as he’s still being advertised for the triple threat main event match at Battleground.
