Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling and WWE kicked off the year in a big way with Day 1 Raw this week. Ahead of Raw on Monday night Triple H teased that a former WWE Champion would be appearing on the show, so there was a lot of anticipation leading up to the big reveal.
When it was time for the former WWE Champion to appear Jinder Mahal made his way out into the arena to a less than enthusiastic reaction from the crowd. After Jinder berated the fans for a few minutes he was interrupted by The Rock who cut a promo then hit Jinder with the People’s Elbow.
After The Rock sent Jinder packing he got back on the mic and asked the fans if he should sit at the head of the table. The Great One’s question got a huge reaction from the fans as it’s no big secret that WWE has been hoping to book Rock vs. Roman Reigns for years now.
It doesn’t seem that Roman Reigns is worried about The Rock as he reacted to his return when he posted a simple laughing emoji on X.

After years of rumors it appears that WWE may finally move forward with a Rock vs. Roman Reigns match. One way or another it will be interesting to see where things go from here. Stay tuned for updates.
