Whether you love Roman Reigns, or you hate him, you have to admit that he’s impossible to ignore. Roman has been pushed as one of WWE’s top stars for several years now, and he’s the current WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Roman has proudly been defending the Intercontinental Championship on Raw over the past few weeks, and this week he put the title on the line against the one and only Samoa Joe.
Joe and Roman fought back and forth for a while, but the match ended in a disqualification after Roman Reigns shoved a referee who was trying to stop him from beating Joe down in the corner.
After the bell rang, Roman proceeded to attack Samoa Joe with the steel ring steps, but Joe managed to get away.
WWE later announced that Roman Reigns had been fined $5,000 for shoving a referee on Monday Night Raw, but Roman took to Twitter to say that it was worth every penny.
Reigns and Joe have been going back and forth for several weeks now, and their rivalry shows no signs over slowing down.
Tonight Roman Reigns is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship once again when he faces John Cena at the WWE live event in Madison Square Garden.
