Roman Reigns has been the Universal Champion since September of 2020, and fans have been wondering who will be the man to take the belt off of The Tribal Chief.
At this point Roman Reigns does not officially have a match booked for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view later this month, but it was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that current plans call for the Head of the Table to defend his title against Rey Mysterio.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Rey and Dominik Mysterio defended the SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The Usos twice, and during the second title match Roman interfered and destroyed the Mysterios, teasing a possible match.
