It’s been building up for months, but now it’s finally official. Roman Reigns will challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 32. Roman defeated Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar in a triple threat match at the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view to win the opportunity to fight for the title.
For most of the match Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns teamed up to take out Brock Lesnar. They hit two double powerbombs through two separate announce tables on Lesnar before burying him in the wreckage. Reigns and Ambrose fought each other for a while before Lesnar returned to the ring.
Ambrose then started beating Brock Lesnar down with a chair before turning his attention to Reigns. Ambrose turned his attention back to Lesnar hitting him with a chair shot that caused him to fall out of the ring. Roman Reigns then charged at Dean Ambrose with a spear to put him down for the three count.
After the match Roman Reigns celebrated for a while before Triple H made his way to the ring. Triple H came out dressed in a suit with the title hanging over his shoulder and the two had a stare down to end the show.
