Roman Reigns recently celebrated his 1,000 day championship reign and Triple H presented him with a new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt. The Tribal Chief has defeated some of the biggest names in the business throughout his title reign and it looks like he’ll be putting his championship on the line in a few days.
The Heritage Bank Center in Cleveland, OH is advertising that Roman Reigns will be defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio during the 6/17 live event at the venue. It’s also being advertised that Seth Rollins will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the event and there will be a total of five title matches on the card.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn and WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther are being advertised for the show, but their opponents have not been confirmed.
It’s not often that Roman Reigns works live events nowadays, so it seems that WWE is looking to pull out all the stops to put together a loaded card. Roman Reigns will be returning to TV later this week when he appears on Friday Night SmackDown. Stay tuned for updates.
