Back in April, Paul Heyman shocked the world when he turned on Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the night 1 main event of WrestleMania 41. Heyman then formed an alliance with Seth Rollins and they recruited Bron Breakker on the following episode of Raw. Breakker took out Roman Reigns as the Raw after WrestleMania came to an end, and The Tribal Chief spent several months sitting on the sidelines.
Recently Roman Reigns returned to WWE programming and he immediately set his sights on Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The Tribal Chief has been feuding with the trio for some time now and he finally got his chance to get some revenge when he teamed up with Jey Uso to face Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at SummerSlam.
The big tag team match kicked off the show and Jey Uso made his entrance first followed by Roman Reigns. Paul Heyman accompanied Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker as they entered the stadium together.
As soon as the match began Roman and Jey knocked Breakker and Reed out of the ring then Jey Uso called for his entrance music to be played again as he went to the corner to YEET much to the delight of the crowd. Shortly after Reed and Breakker took control and dominated the match early on. They isolated Jey Uso in their corner as the fans chanted, “we want Roman!”
Jey Uso was standing in front of the announce table at one point and Bron Breakker jumped from the apron to the table. Jey dodged the attack and Breakker slammed his knee into the table. Uso tried to get the tag, but Bronson Reed pulled Roman off the mat before Jey could get to him.
Finally Jey got the tag and Reigns went after Bron Breakker. Reigns clotheslined Breakker over the top rope then The Tribal Chief dove over the top to the outside and took out Breakker and Reed.
Jey Uso tagged back in and Bronson Reed took control of the match. He dove to the outside to take out Jey and Roman who were standing in front of the announce table. Breakker followed up by hitting Roman with a jumping clothesline that sent him over the table.
Back in the ring Reed put Uso on his shoulders as Breakker hit a bulldog off the top rope for a two count. Breakker went to spear Uso and Reigns on the outside, but Roman countered with a Superman Punch then The Tribal Chief speared Breakker through the barricade.
Bronson Reed attempted to hit a Tsunami on Jey Uso. However, Roman knocked him off the top with a Superman Punch. Jey and Roman then teamed up to hit Bronson Reed with the 1D as Breakker broke up the pin.
Bron Breakker went to spear Jey, but Roman pushed Jey out of the way and sacrificed himself as Breakker connected with the spear on The Tribal Chief. Jey Uso then followed up with an Uso Splash on Bronson Reed to win the match.
