Last week on SmackDown Live Roman Reigns was getting ready to do an interview backstage when some steel beams came crashing down on him.
WWE later posted a storyline update saying that it was discovered during an investigation that the incident was caused by a “forklift driver error” but that the identity of the forklift driver has not been revealed.
Roman Reigns has now issued a statement of his own, as The Big Dog posted the following:
“At this time I think the #SDLive incident was a mistake by the crew, which I love and respect. I respect the machine and the team that builds it and I understand mistakes happen.”
“People will speculate, people will talk, but until proven otherwise, I’m considering it an accident. #SDLive”
