Roman Reigns is one of WWE’s top stars, and a few weeks ago he reunited with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to reform The Shield. So far the reunion has been embraced by the fans, but unfortunately Roman missed the group’s first official match back Sunday night at TLC, and he was replaced by Kurt Angle.
It was recently reported that Roman Reigns is out of action because he’s been diagnosed with the mumps, and he’s set to he re-evaluated next week, leaving fans to wonder when he may return.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Roman likely won’t be sitting on the sidelines for long, and he’s currently pencilled in to return shortly before the Survivor Series pay-per-view. However, depending on what happens with the storylines over the next few weeks it’s always possible he could be kept off TV until after the event.
Due to the health issues impacting WWE at the moment, the company will have to rework some of their creative plans.
After all the hype behind The Shield reunion, unfortunately Roman didn’t get to participate in the reunion at TLC, but the group is still being advertised for the Madison Square Garden live event on December 26, so it’s likely we haven’t seen the last of The Shield as a unit.
