Roman Reigns made his big return to WWE at SummerSlam back in August of 2024, and he’s been feuding with The New Bloodline ever since. The Original Bloodline picked up a big win over The New Bloodline in a WarGames match at Survivor Series, but the feud was far from settled heading into the Monday Night Raw premiere on Netflix.

Ahead of the show it was announced that Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa would face off in a Tribal Combat match with the Ula Fala and mantle of Tribal Chief on the line. Solo Sikoa made his entrance first followed by Roman Reigns who was accompanied by Paul Heyman. Before the match kicked off Solo Sikoa handed the Ula Fala to Paul Heyman.

After a few minutes Solo Sikoa hit Roman with a Ura-Nage on the announce table then drove a monitor into his face. Solo followed up by throwing the steel ring steps at Roman after he stood up. Back in the ring Solo demolished Roman Reigns with a steel chair.

Eventually Roman got the chair and managed to turn the momentum as he laid into Solo. Roman set Solo up for a conchairto as the fans chanted “we want tables!” He went for the conchairto, but Solo moved out of the way and hit Roman with a low blow.

Solo Sikoa grabbed a table from underneath the ring, but Roman hit him with a drive by before he could set it up. Roman set the table up inside the ring. He went to grab Solo who hit Roman in the face with a kendo stick. He Roman in the corner and pressed the kendo stick up against his face, but Roman managed to pick Solo up and put him through the table with a powerbomb. Roman went for a pin, but Tama Tonga broke it up.

Jacob Fatu appeared behind Roman and took him out with the Impaler DDT followed by a moonsault. Solo then hit Roman Reigns with the Samoan Spike. Roman kicked out as Solo and Jacob looked shocked.

Solo hit referee Chad Patton with the Samoan Spike. Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu went to pick Roman up then Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn came out to make the save. Jimmy hit Solo with a superkick then Sami hit Solo with his finisher in the corner. Roman followed up with the spear, but there was no referee to count the pin. A new referee ran down, but it was too late as Solo kicked out at two.

Jimmy and Sami jumped out of the ring to battle Tama Tonga and Jacob. Roman went for a spear then Kevin Owens appeared out of nowhere to hit him with the Stunner. Roman kicked out, so Owens went for the package piledriver. Cody Rhodes stopped him and made the save with a Cody Cutter. KO and Cody battled into the crowd. Only Solo and Roman were left in the ring.

Roman went for the Superman Punch, but Solo blocked it. Solo went for the spoke again only for Roman to dodge it and hit the spear. Roman connected with another spear to win the match and regain the Ula Fala.

After the match Paul Heyman entered the ring with the Ula Fala. As he was about to hand it to Roman, The Rock made his way out. Rock looked down at Solo who was on the floor at ringside then he walked up the steps.

The Rock asked for the Ula Fala and Paul Heyman gave it to him. The Final Boss placed the Ula Fala on Roman then they stared one another down. Rock extended his hand and Roman accepted the handshake then they hugged. Rock stood in the corner and pointed his one to the sky as The Rock looked on from the corner.
