Roman Reigns has an interesting history with the Philadelphia fans, that’s for sure. They weren’t exactly thrilled when Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble in 2015. Roman Reigns and the Philadelphia fans don’t exactly see eye to eye, and the fans are known to get a little rowdy from time to time, especially when Roman is in the room. Whether you love or hate Roman Reigns, there’s no denying that he gets people fired up.
The Philly crowd didn’t make as much noise for the SmackDown Live roster Sunday night as they usually do for Roman, and he challenged the fans to bring their best when Raw returns to the city.
Sunday night Jinder Mahal defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton on Sunday night, and the Punjabi Prison match returned for the first time in over a decade. The return of the Punjabi Prison match wasn’t the only return that took place at Battleground, as former WWE World Heavyweight Champion The Great Khali also appeared and he helped Jinder defeat Randy Orton.
Jinder commented on Khali’s return after the pay-per-view on Talking Smack, and he said that he didn’t break the rules. He picked the Punjabi Prison match because he had a plan. Mahal added that in India family sticks together.
