Back in October, Roman Reigns vacated the Universal Championship and since then he’s been taking time off to focus on his battle with leukemia. Reigns recently made an appearance at a Georgia Tech football game, but other than that The Big Dog has been laying low.
However, PWInsider is reporting that Roman Reigns is in Ft. Hood, Texas today which is were WWE Tribute To The Troops is being taped.
It’s not known at this point in time if Reigns will be appearing on the broadcast, but if he does it will be his first appearance on WWE programming since he revealed his diagnosis to the world.
This year’s Tribute To The Troops is set to air on Thursday, December 20 at 9/8c on USA Network and will feature a special appearance by Jon Stewart, former host of The Daily Show.
Stay tuned for more updates regarding Roman’s involvement with the event as they become available.
