A few weeks ago Baron Corbin won a Fatal 4 Way match on Monday Night Raw, and he earned a shot at the Universal Title in the process. Corbin also came face to face with Rollins this week on Raw, and their confrontation didn’t end well for Seth Rollins.
Corbin ended up hitting Seth Rollins with End of Days, and after that Brock Lesnar made his way to the ring and The Beast delivered a beat down to the Universal Champion.
Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin kicked off WWE Super ShowDown on Friday, and when Seth Rollins made his way to the ring he took off his vest to reveal that his ribs were wrapped up.
Throughout the match Baron Corbin focused on Seth Rollins’ ribs as he tried to wear the champion down.
The end of the match came when Baron Corbin brought a chair in the ring, and the ref argued with Corbin about the chair.
As Corbin was arguing with the ref, Seth Rollins rolled Corbin up to win the match.
After the match Seth Rollins celebrated for a few seconds before Corbin hit him with End of Days and Brock Lesnar’s music hit.
Brock Lesnar made his way own the ramp with a steel chair in his hand while Paul Heyman held the Money in the Bank briefcase.
When Lesnar got in the ring Rollins hit him with a low blow then grabbed the chair and hit him with it several times. Brock grabbed the briefcase and Seth told him to “cash it in” as he continued to hit him with the chair.
Seth then finished Brock off by hitting the stomp on top of the Money in the Bank briefcase.
After the beat down Seth celebrated and held his title high at the top of the ramp before making his exit.
Brock looked like he was in a lot of pain as he rolled out the ring, and he clutched his Money in the Bank briefcase as he walked up the ramp.
