The Rock’s Issues With Vin Diesel Reportedly Not Resolved, Rock Launching New TV Show On Fuse

Earlier this week The Rock posted a video on Instagram saying that he was finishing up filming on “Fast-8” this week. In the caption Rock noted that he was having some issues with one of his male co-stars, he posted the following:

“This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.”

According to TMZ The Rock was referring to Vin Diesel who stars in and works as a producer on the film franchise.

TMZ was also reporting that The Rock and Vin Diesel had a meeting to hash things out. In an update, it’s being reported that their issues weren’t resolved after the meeting.

Vin Diesel reportedly wrapped up his scenes for the film and told everyone “Daddy’s gone” before he left. After Diesel left, Rock posted another video from the “Fast-8” set with the following caption:

“You guys reading this know how much I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT. That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to my set or partner with our production company. And like with any team – that’s a family – there’s gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs. To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it.”

The Rock announced today that his company Seven Bucks Productions will be teaming up with Fuse to create a show that focuses on drum corps titled “Clash of the Corps.” The Rock posted the following on Instagram:

“Our @sevenbucksprod’s is excited to bring you our new show #ClashOfTheCorps on @fuseTV. Bringing you inside the world of this intense and passionate culture that’s known as DRUM CORPS.

The athletes aren’t the only ones who “leave it all out on the field”. Our @sevenbucksprod continues its growth nicely across the media landscape. You guys’ll really dig this show. Enjoy!”

According to the promotional photo the show is set to debut on October 5th.
