The Rock Teams Up With Jason Statham In First Fate Of The Furious Trailer

The Rock has been on a roll as of late. He was named the highest paid actor in the world in 2016, and 2017 looks like it’s going to be a huge year for him. The Rock has several big releases set for next year such as the “Baywatch” reboot, “Jumanji” and of course the next entry in “The Fast and the Furious” franchise.

The next film will be the eighth entry in the series and it will be titled “The Fate of the Furious” and it’s likely to be another box office success for The Rock. In 2015 “Fast 7” managed to gross over $1.5 million worldwide, which made it the third highest grossing film of the year behind “Jurassic World” which made $1.6 billion, and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” which made over $2 billion.

Last time around The Rock’s character teamed up with Vin Diesel and his family to take down Jason Statham, but this time he’ll be forming an unlikely alliance with Statham.

The first trailer for “Fate of the Furious” has been released, and it reveals that Vin Diesel will be turning heel on the rest of the cast, and The Rock will be forced to team up with Jason Statham to take him down. Check out the trailer below.

Shortly after shooting for “Fate of the Furious” wrapped up, The Rock took aim at Vin Diesel on social media, and there appeared to be tension between the two stars. It was then rumored that The Rock and Vin Diesel may have been setting up a future WWE match, and you can get more on that below.
