The Rock Says He’s Not Ruling Out A Presidential Run In 2020

Last week something that many people thought to be impossible happened. WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election, and now he’s set to become the 45th President of the United States.

Donald Trump will be President of the United States for the next four years, but in 2020 another name from the wrestling world might be getting involved in the election. The Rock recently spoke to Vanity Fair, and he told them that he’s not ruling out a possible run for the White House in 2020.

“I wouldn’t rule it out. It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen.”

This isn’t the first time that The Rock has talked about his interest in politics. Back in June The Rock spoke with GQ, and he told them that the thought of becoming president is alluring.

“I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out. I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure. I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring.”

The Rock has become a huge star since he made the jump to acting, and in 2016, The Rock became the highest paid actor in the world. There’s no denying that The Rock has a huge fanbase, so, it will be interesting to see how many of those fans make their way to the polls if The Rock really does decide to run for President.

Will you vote for The Rock if he runs for President of the United States in 2020? Sound off in the comments below.
