The Rock is one of those guys who is pretty much good at whatever he does. When he first announced he was going to star in a movie, most wrestling fans thought “that’s cute.” Now The Rock is a box office juggernaut and it’s hard to argue anyone will ever be able to make more money than he does in Tinsel Town.
But apparently The Rock has had a couple options in his life and one of them recently came to light in surprising fashion. Muscle & Fitness Magazine recently tweeted out a simple post with The Rock’s picture asking fans if they could ever picture him in the Octagon.
While most people would have just let this one slide and not thought anything of it more than an attempt to gain some social media impressions, The Rock actually responded.
Dwayne Johnson revealed he actually considered making a jump over to UFC about a decade ago. The Rock said he had a coach and plans to train for two years before debuting in the eight-sided cage. Fortunately for him and Hollywood, The Rock decided against moving his talents over to MMA.
His jaw probably thanks him too.
If it feels like it’s been forever since you last saw The Rock (how could you possibly say that because he’s everywhere you look anymore).
The Rock x Siri: Dominate The Day is set to drop tomorrow and promises to be the biggest, coolest, sexiest, funniest commercial you’ve ever seen. This new collaborative effort with Apple looks like it’s going to be a ton of fun nonetheless.
The Rock said on his Facebook page that this movie will “motivate you to get out there and get the job done.” Whatever that means, we’re certainly going to watch when it drops because there’s no good excuse to pass up any chance to see The Rock.
