The Rock confirmed on his Twitter that he will be playing Black Adam, Shazam’s nemesis, in the upcoming DC Comics Shazam movie. The character is said to be more of an anti-hero than a villain.
Variety reports that Darren Lemke will pen the script, with Hiram Garcia producing.
