Rob Van Dam spent many years working as a WWE Superstar, but it’s been a while since fans have seen the former champion inside a WWE ring.
Even though RVD doesn’t make appearances on WWE programming all that often he’s still on good terms with the company, and he revealed during an interview with That 90’s Wrestling Podcast that WWE contacted him about doing a documentary.
According to Van Dam the current plan is to release the documentary in May.
“They [WWE] contacted me and asked if I’d be interested and that they wanted to make a documentary on me, and I said sure, I’d be interested. We haven’t actually shot much of it yet, but, [whispering] it comes out in May. So we’re gonna be shooting a lot of it real soon. So I’m excited about it, I’m talking to them [WWE] about doing a book, we’re in talks.”
Rob Van Dam last appeared on Raw in June of 2019 as part of the big Raw Reunion show. Stay tuned for more updates on his WWE documentary as they become available.
