It’s been a while since fans have seen Rob Van Dam compete inside a WWE ring, but despite the fact that he hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in a few years, fans are always talking about him.
Rob Van Dam has said that he’s on good terms with WWE and the door is always open for him to return to the company, if the money is right. However, he’s also said that he’s in the twilight of his career, so how much longer he intends to wrestle remains to be seen.
One way or another, he hasn’t decided to hang up the boots just yet, and it looks like he may be wrestling later this year. Rob Van Dam posted the following:
Another fan followed up by asking Rob Van Dam if he’ll be working with WWE again, and the former WWE Champion neither confirmed or denied a possible return to the company, he simply said that more info would be coming soon.
During his run with WWE, Rob Van Dam became the only man to ever hold the WWE and ECW Championship simultaneously. He parted ways with the company in 2007 and he started making appearances on the independent circuit before joining TNA in 2010.
Van Dam later returned to WWE in 2013 and he finished up his run with the company in August of 2014.
There’s no shortage of WWE fans who would like to see him return to the company and although it’s not quite clear what RVD has planned, it looks like we’ll be finding out more info soon.
