It’s been a few years since fans have seen Rob Van Dam wrestle inside a WWE ring. RVD returned to WWE in 2013 after spending some time in TNA, and even though it wasn’t his best run, he was still featured in some high profile title matches.
Van Dam has kept quiet since his last WWE run, but he’s said that the door is always open for him to make his return.
The WWE roster has changed quite a bit since the last time Rob Van Dam was part of it, and there are several new stars fans would love to see Van Dam face.
AJ Styles is an opponent that RVD is familiar with, but they have yet to cross paths in WWE.
A fan recently asked RVD if he thinks he could beat AJ Styles for the Universal Title, and Van Dam jokingly responded by saying, “I do if Hunter does.”
Speaking of Hunter, Triple H is set to face Jinder Mahal next month in what’s being billed as “the biggest match in India’s history.”
Jinder Mahal recently posted a Twitter saying that Triple H is an unstoppable force, but when he wrestles in India, in front of his people, he becomes unstoppable. Mahal vowed that by the time it’s all said and done, Triple H will bow down to him.
