Over the last few years WWE fans have seen many people get released from the company, and NXT has been hit particularly hard over the last few months following the launch of NXT 2.0. It looks like the wave of releases is set to continue, as Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that the following names were released today:
– Road Dogg
– William Regal
– Ace Steel
– Ryan Katz (writer)
– Dave Kapoor (formerly Ranjin Singh)
– Scott Armstrong
– George Carroll
– Hideki Suzuki
– Timothy Thatcher
– Danny Burch
– Cathy Corino
WWE issued the following statement regarding the releases:
“With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”
