WWE is constantly going through changes and last month it was reported that Road Dogg stepped away from his job on the WWE creative team and quit the company entirely.

During a recent virtual signing with Billy Gunn, Road Dogg directly addressed his departure and indicated that the job was moving too fast for him while adding that he’s going to spend more time with his family.

“It was moving too fast. It was just moving too fast for me. We talked about my brothers and their grandkids. I didn’t get to spend a whole lot of time with mine. I’m gonna do more of that now.”

Road Dogg also shared his thoughts on WWE Unreal when he said that as an old timer he always feels that it’s exposing the business too much. He added that it’s “an on-ramp or an exit ramp into the actual episodic television show,” but also stated that he’s not sure if there’s a metric that can track whether or not it’s working in that regard.

The WWE Hall of Famer also shot down the idea of him going to All Elite Wrestling when he was asked if he could know more about AEW’s production process in the future and he simply said, “No.”
