This week’s episode of NXT was the Halloween Havoc special, and the event featured several title matches. During the show the NXT Tag Team Titles were on the line when MSK defended their belts against Imperium in a Lumber Jack-o’-Lantern match.
At one point during the match Marcel Barthel and Nash Carter went to the top rope for a big move to the outside, but when they came crashing down the lumberjacks on the outside of the ring failed to catch them and break their fall.
This botch did not go over well with current Raw Tag Team Champion Riddle as he reacted to the spot and suggested that the lumberjacks should be beaten with sticks when he posted the following:

In the end it was Imperium who picked up the victory to win the NXT Tag Team Titles. Riddle himself is a former NXT Tag Team Champion as he previously won the belts with Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Portland in February of 2020.
