Ricochet has been on a roll over the last few weeks and on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown he challenged Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Friday proved to be Ricochet’s night as he managed to roll Sami up and pin him to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.
With his big victory on Friday night Ricochet became the first man in history to win the NXT North American Championship, WWE United States Championship and WWE Intercontinental Championship.

During the match Johnny Knoxville came down to the ringside area to distract Sami Zayn which helped Ricochet pick up the win. Following the match it was announced that Johnny Knoxville will face off against Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 38.
At this point it’s not clear what WWE has in store for Ricochet at WrestleMania, but it was recently reported that he is listed as the number two babyface on SmackDown. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
