The first ever WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view aired live on the WWE Network on Sunday night, and Ricochet challenged Samoa Joe for the United States Championship.
Ricochet managed to put Joe away and win the belt after hitting him with the 630, but his entrance was a little less than smooth.
After bouncing off the ropes and doing a backflip while entering the ring, Ricochet had a rough landing, and after the match he took to Twitter to comment on the botch when he posted the following:
Not my best one! Bahahaha 🤣😂🤦🏽♂️ pic.twitter.com/kpKhy53Cmp

Cedric Alexander also joined the conversation when he posted the following:
All them wings and no air 🤣

It appears that Ricochet’s outfit may have been to blame, as he later noted that he wanted to take his jacket off before he hit the ring.
I know! I actually thought about this before the match started!
I wanted to take it off before I ran to the ring, but I started running and thought “yeah, I didn’t take this jacket off yet….Dang.” https://t.co/OVxE0mebHd
