Ric Flair and Randy Orton are pretty tight. When Orton was just coming up through the ranks of the WWE, he was lucky enough to be mentored by Ric Flair and Triple H, and together with Batista, they formed the iconic stable known as Evolution.
Flair and Orton sat down with Bruno Sammartino for a recent episode of Table For 3, and Flair noted that during his evolution days, he used to live vicariously through Orton and Batista. The 16 time World Champion said that Triple H always had his own thing going on, but Batista and Orton liked to party.
Randy Orton is only 37 years old, and he happens to be fresh off his 14th WWE World Title run. Although Orton hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down, Ric Flair noted that he wants him to retire so he can get his third WWE Hall of Fame ring when Evolution is inducted.
“Well, here’s the deal. I want you to retire as soon as you can,” Flair said via Wrestling Inc. God knows you’ve got enough money, okay? So I can get my third [WWE Hall Of Fame] ring when they induct Evolution, okay?”
Do you think Randy Orton should help Ric Flair out and end his career earlier so The Nature Boy can get another ring?
