You never know what could happen in the world of professional wrestling, and recently Paul Wight, better known to WWE fans as Big Show, parted ways with WWE and officially joined All Elite Wrestling.
It was a move that almost no one saw coming, and during an appearance on Busted Open Radio Ric Flair made it clear that Paul Wight has earned his respect.
“I didn’t see it coming, and I’m sure they [AEW] must have made him a spectacular deal over there. Do I wish had would stay with us personally? Yes. At the same time, he has earned my respect, and I think he has earned the respect of everybody and should be able to make whatever choice he wants.”
Flair also noted that he saw Big Show at Raw Legends Night a few weeks ago, and Show didn’t say anything about leaving WWE.
“I was just with him, and I did not see it happening. He did not mention a word to me, and I was with him, what two or three weeks ago, whenever they had the Legends Reunion.”
