Ric Flair is without a doubt one of the most legendary wrestlers in the history of the business, and there are many people who feel that he’s one of the best talkers of all time. Flair wrestled his final match last year, but you can still catch him talking about his career on the To Be The Man podcast.
During a recent episode of the show Flair was asked if he would take on a role as a manager or producer in WWE, AEW or Impact and he said, “Absolutely for AEW or WWE, but they won’t.”
Conrad Thompson then asked Ric Flair to explain and he said he’s too good at what he does when he added, “Because I’m too good at what I do, even at my age. I’m not talking about being a producer, not being a writer. I don’t mean that. I’m talking about (if) they give me a microphone and they let me have at it. I mean, you tell me.”
Ric Flair recently returned to TV when he made a special appearance on the Raw 30th anniversary episode to introduce his daughter Charlotte Flair, but it doesn’t seem that there are any plans to bring him back to TV full time.
