Ric Flair is recognized as a 16 time World Champion, a two time WWE Hall of Famer, and an icon of the professional wrestling business. He’s faced off against the best of the best over the course of his career, and his performances inside the ring won’t soon be forgotten by wrestling fans.
Flair managed to create one heck of a legacy for himself in the eyes of the fans over the years, and he recently spoke to Sporting News about what he hopes his legacy is, and he said that he just wants to be remembered as a hard worker.
“My legacy, I hope, is — and I feel pretty comfortable saying this — that I worked harder than anybody in the business and sometimes under the worst conditions. I never wanted to ever leave the crowd thinking they haven’t gotten their money’s worth.”
Gabe Sapolsky recently commented on the working relationship between WWN and WWE, and how Triple H’s attitude helped to bring it together via Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard blog, and you can check out the full article here along with a quote below.
“The last year has seen a mind-blowing relationship develop between EVOLVE and WWE/NXT. The progressive attitude of Triple H has led the way for one unprecedented happening after another. From EVOLVE footage being seen on WWE Network to WWN Seminars with NXT trainers and talent evaluators to WWE contracted talent like Sami Zayn, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable and Tommy End making appearances at EVOLVE—to Triple H himself coming to a live event to tweet a buzzworthy photo—this support has strengthened the independent undercurrent.”
