Ric Flair has carved out quite a reputation for himself as being a wild and crazy guy. Throughout his Hall Of Fame career, Ric has been the stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheelin’ n’ dealin’ son of a gun and has made no apologies about that fact either.

We recently reported Ric Flair was kicked out of an Indiana bar after an altercation where he allegedly insulted a bartender. He apparently only spent five minutes in the establishment as well which made his ejection even more of a feat.

Ric Flair appeared on the Dan Le Batard Show and discussed the recent event. Ric Flair said it all came down to a great misunderstanding in the end surrounding bartending etiquette. Ric Flair wanted it to be made very clear he was not arrested, even though the ordeal did see him getting kicked out of the bar.

“I had only had one drink,” Ric Flair explained. “I asked for another drink, he takes glass and [puts] ice in and starts pouring in the same glass. [Flair said to the bartender] ‘sir, doesn’t a premium drink require a new glass?’ And he goes, ‘are you telling me how to bartend?’ And I said, ‘not if I don’t have to, dumbass.’”

“[The bartender replied] ‘Did you call me a dumbass?’ [Flair responded] ‘I can call you a dumbass, or a fat ass. Both work.’”

Flair said after that brief exchange with the bartender, the manager of the establishment came up to The Nature Boy and escorted him out of the bar. In a day and age where bullying is becoming even more of a hot topic in pro wrestling it’s hard to see this as appropriate behavior on Flair’s part. But in all honesty, a premium drink does need a new glass.
