It was reported a few weeks ago that Rey Mysterio had signed a new deal with WWE, and the company recently confirmed that he will be returning during SmackDown 1000 next week. Mysterio will be getting right back into the mix on Tuesday night, as he’s set to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a WWE World Cup qualifying match.
Speaking of the WWE World Cup, Jeff Hardy defeated Samoa Joe to qualify for the tournament this week on SmackDown Live, and Randy Orton defeated Big Show
So far John Cena, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton have all been confirmed for the WWE World Cup.
