Rey Mysterio made his surprise return to WWE earlier this year in the 2018 Royal Rumble match, and he returned once again for the Greatest Royal Rumble.
Mysterio has openly said that he’s negotiating a new deal with WWE, but a contract has yet to be signed.
Lucha Central is reporting that Rey Mysterio gave an update on his status during a press conference celebrating Rey Mysterio Day in San Diego, and he revealed that he’s discussing a new 3 year deal with WWE.
It’s being said that the deal hinges on Mysterio being allowed to work a part-time schedule.
According to ShowBuzzDaily, this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw drew 2.903 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.730 million viewers.
This week’s show drew 3.001 million viewers for the first hour, followed by 2.975 million viewers for the second hour.
The third and final hour drew 2.734 million viewers.
