October 26, 2015
San Diego, CA
“I wanted to be able to bring premium merchandise to my fans around the world who have been asking for it and teaming with Masked Republic was the perfect way to do just that.” Rey said.
The current AAA Lucha Libre star and former WWE World Champion has released three premium T-shirts and two limited edition plush keychains with the company. All five items are available exclusively at the company’s LuchaShop.com website.
“There is not a single luchador in history who is as well known around the world as Rey Mysterio.” Masked Republic CEO Ruben Zamora said. “His career has broken boundaries and records and it’s not over yet! His extremely loyal fan base, as seen in his nearly 3 million followers on social media, have been asking him to release new products, and we are very happy to be able to release the first ones now in time for the holiday season. Each item has been created with Rey’s input and approval and are created with premium quality materials. The t-shirts are silkscreened with pride here in Rey’s hometown and ours, San Diego, CA, and the plush keychains are designed and manufactured by artisans Qbito Grafico in San Luis Potisi, Mexico. Like Rey, we share great pride in featuring products produced on both sides of the border.”
