The new WWE regime has been bringing former Superstars back on a regular basis over the last few months, and Emma made her big return to the company during the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Emma made her first appearance on WWE programming in five years when she answered Ronda Rousey’s open challenge for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Unfortunately for Emma she didn’t win the title, but she is now part of the WWE roster once again.
The Wrestling Observer reports that Emma’s appearance was not just a one time deal as she officially signed a contract with WWE. Current plans reportedly call for Emma to be part of the SmackDown roster.
