WWE returns have become quite common under the Triple H regime and last week Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson returned on Raw when they backed AJ Styles up in his fight against The Judgement Day.
The return of The Good Brothers has left fans with a lot of questions as Karl Anderson is the current NEVER Openweight Champion in NJPW. Fightful Select reports that WWE showed interest in Gallows and Anderson when they were still under WWE contract, and that they’ve been working in New Japan Pro Wrestling without a contract.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson reportedly committed to dates with NJPW through Wrestle Kingdom in January, but NJPW was very aware that they were heading to WWE. The belief is that Gallows and Anderson will appear at future dates with NJPW. One side hoped that they will still be involved with Wrestle Kingdom, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
As far as their contract status goes, The Good Brothers have officially signed a big money deal with WWE. They were under a verbal agreement with NJPW and the idea is that the agreement will be fulfilled. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
