It’s no big secret that House Hardy and Global Force Wrestling aren’t on the best of terms right now. Earlier this year The Hardys left the company, and they tried to take their Broken Hardys gimmick with them, but GFW is claiming ownership of the gimmick, along with all things related to the Broken Universe.
The Hardys and GFW have been battling back and forth over the rights to the gimmick for months now. TNA, Impact Wrestling, GFW or whatever you prefer to call the company nowadays doesn’t have the best reputation, and this legal battle hasn’t done anything to help the promotion on that front.
Someone from Global Force Wrestling recently reached out to Jimmy’s Seafood and asked about a potential partnership with the restaurant, but they got shut down hard.
The person running the Jimmy’s Seafood Twitter account responded by saying they will only consider speaking with the company if they release the rights to the Broken Hardys gimmick.
Matt Hardy reacted to the situation by declaring Jimmy’s the World Champion of restaurants.
When it comes to the legal battle over the rights to the Broken Universe, it’s pretty clear where Jimmy’s Seafood stands.
