TheNational.ae has an article up on wrestler Zaid “Picture Perfect” Khan, who worked a tryout in front of Regal and Zayn. Khan is a 26 year old British resident of Dubai that has been training for 2 years. Khan noted that wrestlers from across the Middle East and India were present for the tryouts and some of the wrestlers from India had TV experience. Khan was 1 of 14 wrestlers who made it through the tests and was one of the talents that impressed Regal. He is expecting to hear back from WWE within a few weeks. He also talked about how tough the tryouts were:
“William Regal and Sami Zayn were here testing us out. It was so surreal. The warm-up alone was the most tiring thing ever, and the whole time I was trying not to show that I’m tired. Eight people didn’t make it through the warm-up.”
