Released WWE Superstar Praises AEW PPV

Last month was rough for the WWE roster as a number of talents were let go due to coronavirus related budget cuts.

Former WWE United States Champion Rusev was among the names released, and now everyone is waiting to see what he’s going to do next.

Rusev has been streaming on his Twitch channel as of late, and he made it clear that he has his eye on AEW when he praised the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.

“Speaking of wrestling, last night was fun… I set my tv, my phone or whatever and I watched a little bit of AEW. I don’t know if it’s legal to say. Is it legal to say?”

He followed up by saying that he thought the show was fun, especially the main event.

The Bulgarian Brute is currently waiting out his 90 day non-compete clause which is set to expire in July.

Where do you want to see him go next? Sound off in the comments below.
