Mass WWE releases became a regular occurrence over the last few years, but times have changed ever since the new WWE regime took over. Former wrestlers have been returning to the company and it’s been rumored that Matt Cardona is on the company’s radar.
Cardona spent many years of his career working in WWE as Zack Ryder, and he recently took to Twitter to post a photo of himself holding a photo titled “Zack Ryder Pitches” along with the following caption:

Matt Cardona signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2006 and he continued to work with the company as Zack Ryder until her was released in 2020. Since his release in 2020 he’s gone on to work with AEW, Impact Wrestling, GCW and NWA. It’s been rumored that WWE is not only interested in bringing back Cardona but his wife Chelsea Green as well.
