Back in April WWE released a number of talents from NXT and the main roster, and soon their non-compete clauses will be expiring.
You never know where certain names might end up, and it looks like EC3 could be AEW bound.
The former Impact Wrestling World Champion recently released a new promo video where made quite a few references to All Elite Wrestling.
In the video EC3 makes some not so subtle AEW references as he says things like “you’re in the jungle, boy” and “you fear the revolt.”
Ethan Carter III continued to lean into the references heavily throughout the promo, saying things like “You feel like you’re left out to hang, man. The natural state of things has fallen into this dark order.”
It’s worth noting that EC3 has also been teased for the Impact Wrestling Slammiversary PPV on July 18.
His WWE non-compete clause will expire on July 15. The full promo can be seen below.
