WWE has released a number of wrestlers over the last few years, but quite a few of them have returned ever since Triple H took over WWE creative last year. You never know who might return to the company and PWInsider Elite is reporting that Sha Samuels was spotted at the WWE Performance Center earlier this week.
Sha Samuels first signed with WWE in January of 2021 and he debuted on the January 14 episode of NXT UK under the name Ed Harvey. He later declared that he would be known as Sha Samuels moving forward. WWE released Samuels from his contract in August of 2022.
It’s not clear at this point in time if WWE is looking to bring him back as an active competitor, or if he could be working in another role during his time at the Performance Center as Sha Samuels noted back in March that he had done some work as a guest coach for the company.
Sha Samuels was of course part of the NXT UK brand which WWE did away with last year, but at some point the company is set to launch NXT Europe, so it will be interesting to see if he’s brought back for the new brand. Stay tuned for updates.
