WWE releases have become quite common nowadays and it was confirmed in April of 2020 that Tino Sabbatelli had been released from his contract.
From there Tino made his way to All Elite Wrestling where he worked a match on AEW Dark in July of 2020 under the name Sabby. A few months later Tino Sabbatelli signed a new deal with WWE, but he was eventually released again in June of 2021.
During an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Tino Sabbatelli opened up about his second release, and he explained that he lost a little respect for Triple H because The Game didn’t call him.
“I lost a little respect because I didn’t get a call, I didn’t get a text from Triple H. I called him and I reached out to him. I didn’t respect that, man, because I felt like I gave them everything that I had for five, six years, and he told me and numerous people told me that my character had star main-event caliber potential. But how do I never get a shot? Nothing.”
Stay tuned for more updates on Tino Sabbatelli as they become available.
