So far this year WWE has released quite a few talents, but you never know when one of them could potentially return to the company. Former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler was released from WWE back in May, but it looks like she could be taking on a new role with the company.
Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net is reporting that Shayna Baszler was listed as a producer alongside Chris Girard for the Kelani Jordan vs. Lainey Reid singles match on NXT this week.
Shayna Baszler first signed with WWE back in 2017 and she went on to become a two time NXT Women’s Champion and a three time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. Her 8 year run with the company officially came to an end on May 2nd.
Baslzer last wrestled inside a WWE ring on the April 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown when she teamed with Zoey Stark to compete in a tag team gauntlet match. Her most recent match took place at the GCW Bloodsport XIII on April 17 when she picked up a win over Konami.
